Slow somatics for
complex trauma healing
Somatic trauma resolution for neurodivergent mind-bodies healing from complex trauma
I’m a somatic practitioner, educator, and researcher.
I create healing containers for people with complex PTSD, developmental trauma, freeze, shame and neurodivergence.
Traditional therapy simply doesn’t work for complex trauma and neurocomplexity, like ADHD and autism. We need something different and practitioners with lived experience.
I’ve trained and am training in advanced somatic therapies designed for people with early timeline trauma, attachment trauma, and the trauma of being neurodivergent in a world that says you’re wrong.
Trauma healing is possible but looks different when the trauma was earlier, ancestral, and/or with neurodivergent wiring. This means healing has to be different.
Your body is always speaking to you. I’m here to help you understand its language.

“I feel so excited to have found something that actually works after so many years in therapy. Jaclyn creates an environment that feels judgment free, but also playful and we can laugh about these serious topics. My favorite thing has been noticing how things are actually shifting for me physically. The longer we work together I notice I’m able to handle stressful situations more and the way I interact with people in my life is different. She’s helped me learn the things I can do when I’m triggered or not doing well mentally and different ways to move through my emotions so that I can get unstuck. Instead of what would Jesus do I ask myself “What would Jaclyn do?” then do those, like shaking or putting my hands on my heart and giving myself self-compassion, and I feel a lot better. I highly recommend Jaclyn for anyone who’s experienced trauma, mental health struggles, chronic illness or honestly any millennial.”
